We produce a range of farm fresh Christmas poultry.

Geese
We rear about 30 free range geese every year. Arriving on the farm in April, these cheeky chappies soon grow into a happy flock of geese who love nothing more than to nibble grass (or machinery wires if they get the chance!), hang out in the sunshine, and politely wait in the yard at bedtime for Michael to come shuffle them safely back into their barn for bed.
A real treat for Christmas and is always a showstopper.

Turkeys
We rear about 600 free range turkeys every year. Arriving on the farm in July these summer arrivals are always a big milestone in our farming year. These gorgeous birds, both white and bronze, are chosen to grow to a range of sizes so there is the perfect turkey for everyone. Our turkeys love to gobble back to us when we pass them during the day and roost on the perches and bales we provide for them through the night.
A classic choice for Christmas!

Chicken
We rear about 40 chicken every year. Arriving on the farm in September they are the latest group to join the farm. Slow grown and fully matured these chicken have a unique flavour reminiscent of generations past.
A wonderful option for those who want a smaller bird this Christmas.
Our family have been producing Christmas poultry continuously for 70 years. It all began when June Western, Michael’s mother, started rearing and selling poultry when she was just fourteen years old in much the same way that we do today.
We bring all our poultry onto the farm as day old chicks and prepare them to oven ready all on farm. We sell our poultry direct to our customers and to local butchers, so you can be sure they are of the best quality.
Private customers are asked to collect their bird, after ordering in advance, from the farm house on the 23rd December.
